Prenatal/Postnatal & Breastfeeding Programs

At Maggie's Place, we offer a variety of prenatal programs for helping support expectant mothers/fathers and new parents.

Some of the programs we offer include:

Full Bellies ~ Prenatal Nutrition Program (Colchester) - a 10 week program for expectant women

Preparing to Breastfeed (Colchester)

Rock & Talk (Colchester) - a weekly drop in program for parents with babies up to 12 months of age.

Adjusting to Parenting (Colchester) - a support group for women experiencing depression symptoms during pregnancy and/or within one year of childbirth. Offered in partnership with Public Health Services and the Canadian Mental Health Association.

Snugglebugs (Cumberland) - A drop-in program where new parents come together to share ideas, concerns, ask questions, and learn new information about babies, parenting, health and child education.

Pregnancy & Beyond (Cumberland Outreach Program) - Public Health staff and Maggie’s Place CPNP Coordinator answer health related questions, as well as provide support & education around prenatal/post natal related topics.

Shake Rattle & Roll (Cumberland) - Fun and interactive hour of singing, rhyming, and storytelling with babies up to 12 months.

Babies Come First Prenatal Program (Cumberland) - A 5 week program for expecting mothers and their support persons to learn about what to expect from labour and delivery, bringing baby home and feeding your new baby.
